NRJ Introduces “Audio Ultra HD” Mobile Streaming

NRJ France has introduced high quality streaming in its mobile app for Apple devices.

The new “Audio Ultra HD” streaming uses 576 kilobyte AAC and is available via wifi and 4G mobile networks. NRJ previously used 64 kilobyte MP3. In a press release, NRJ says that the new streaming quality is the highest available on the market and compares it to Spotify’s premium service which uses 320 kilobyte.

The NRJ France app for IOS is available from Apple’s app store.
