The station will air many of the performances live from Motion, Colston Hall, O2 Academy Bristol and Basement 45, with others recorded and aired in shows later in the week and on future dates.

The 6 Music Festival can also be seen and heard across digital platforms. As well as being broadcast on the station across the weekend, highlights from a selection of performances will be available to watch via the BBC Red Button at various times during the weekend of the event and over the following fortnight.

Also returning this year is the 6 Music Festival by Day - a presentation of spoken word, poetry and performance events - on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February, plus 6 Music Festival Late club nights on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 February.
